Terms of Sale
At Front Foot English we are committed to being fair. Providing quality products and services to you is as important to us as running our business effectively. Please read the following Terms of Sale carefully as we only want you to continue with your purchase or free download if you are happy to accept them.
Purchase of products
We put a lot of time and effort into producing our resources. Therefore, we take the copying of any part of them very seriously. All material on the Front Foot English website is protected by New Zealand and international intellectual property and copyright law. By downloading any resources from Front Foot English (whether free or paid), you agree to the following:
- You may use resources for personal and/or direct classroom use only.
- You must not reproduce or share our resources with others in any form.
- You must not use any product for commercial purposes and you must not alter the digital versions of our products in any way.
- You acknowledge that the product you download will remain the intellectual property of Front Foot English at all times.
Purchase of Lessons
Payment for lessons
All payments must be made at least one week before your course starts. That gives us time to design the best programme of study for you that we can.
Payment is to be made by credit card via Stripe.
Lesson cancellations
You agree to give us at least 12 hours’ notice if you want to cancel a lesson and we will reschedule this lesson for you in the same week if possible.
If we need to cancel a lesson for any reason, we will strive to give you 24 hours’ notice and re-schedule your lesson for the same week if possible.
If you give us less than 12 hours’ notice, you agree to forfeit that lesson entirely unless we are able to re-schedule without disadvantage to us or another student.
Because we have prepared carefully for your lesson and not taken other bookings, if you are not online for your lesson, we will wait for 10 minutes and then that lesson will be lost.
Refunds
Only under exceptional circumstances will refunds be provided in part or in full. We will try to work with you to find a solution if you feel you have not purchased the right product or service for you.
Other general terms and conditions
Linking to the Website
You may establish a link to the website, provided that:
- the link is not detrimental to and/or does not take unfair advantage of our reputation or business;
- the link does not falsely suggest that we endorse, approve of, or are associated with your website or any of its contents.
Framing is not allowed and you must not provide access to the Front Foot English website or part of it under any other URL (e.g. by domain forwarding, URL redirection or similar).
Security
Front Foot English does not take any liability for viruses or similar that may inadvertently be transferred through this site. We use up-to-date and best-practice security software on our own computers and recommend that users take the same steps to ensure a high level of security.
Error and inaccuracy corrections
The content of this website, including, but not limited to, text, pricing, availability, and descriptions may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies or omissions. Front Foot English reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Privacy
When you purchase or download a product from us, we ask for a few contact details. This is simply so that we can contact you if there is an issue with the purchase, and to notify you of new products and services. By purchasing or downloading from us, you agree to be contacted about new products and services. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at eli@frontfootenglish.co.nz. We agree that any information obtained from you will be collected and protected in accordance with the relevant privacy law in New Zealand.
You agree that any materials received by you will not be distributed in any way to third parties without our consent.
